I recently attended a very cool event here in the OKC called The Girlie Show. It was a market/art show/hand-made cool stuff showcase and all of the vendors and exhibitors were girls! It was held at the Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market, which was a perfect venue, especially since it included a well stocked bar and lots of twinkly lights.
The fella went with under protest, but he wasn't the only guy there and I think he actually enjoyed looking at some of the photography and whatnot.
I walked away with this unique bottle cap ring with the Girlie Show Logo on it and an event poster, it's pink and 40's inspired and it's pink.
There were several ladies with Etsy shops in attendance as well as other artists from near and far. I fell in love with an Oklahoma artist, Debbie Curtis' work. I really want "Groovey" but my current state of austerity will not permit. Boo. I can still dream of it hanging on my wall.
